Letter Regarding Delay

Letter dated March 28, 1986 from Dickey B. Rustin, Manager of the USPS Stamp Information Branch to Mrs. Barbara Bulgarelli, the President of the Great Lakes Lace Group, on the postponement of the issuance of the Lacemaking stamps.  Taken from the G.L.L.G. Newsletter dated April 1986.  Another note was reprinted in the GLLC Newsletter to Barbara Bogarelli from Don McDowell, General Manager of the USPS Stamps Division dated March 21, 1986 states:
“I am writing to tell you that you  have my vote for Nice Person of the Year. As I said when we talked today, I would not have taken such bad news as well as you did. We are determined to produce stamps so lovely that the wait will have been worthwhile.”
