Well. What do you say about this? I'm speechless. Then I found the Caruso card, and realized that this advertiser is trying to connect famous Italians with his establishment. Caruso died August 2, 1921. The Mussolini card is dated April 17, 1926. The sender refers to the thanksgiving service given for Mussolini after the assignation attempt of April 7th; he was shot and slightly wounded around the nose by an Irish woman, Voilet Gibson. She was questioned, released without charge, deported to Britain and spent the rest of her life in an asylum.
